Dr. Enrico Pasin - sponsored by Dentsply Lomberg
Dr. Enrico Pasin attended the University of Witten/Herdecke in Witten (Germany) and received his doctor of dentistry in 2003. He begins 2005 his postgraduate studies in orthodontics. From 2006 -2008 he attended the University of Marburg (Germany) to continue his postgraduate studies in orthodontics under the heads of department: Prof. Dr. Jos Dibbets and Prof. Dr. Hans Pancherz. He graduated with a specialty in orthodontics in 2008. Dr. Pasin opened his private orthodontic practice in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, in 2009.
Prof. dr. Sabine Ruf
Sabine Ruf received her DDS from the Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen, Germany in 1991. She obtained her Dr. med. dent in 1994 and her Dr. med. dent. habil in 2001 from the same University. In 2002 she was appointed as Professor and Chair of the Clinic for Orthodontics of the University of Berne, Switzerland. In 2005 she returned to Germany and is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Giessen, Germany. She received the W.J.B. Houston Research Award of the EOS in 1997, the 6th S.I.D.O. World Award in 1997,the EOS Best Poster Award in 2001 and 2006 (Co-author) and the Best Paper Award of the German Orthodontic Society 2008. Since 2009 she is an Active Member of the Angle Society of Europe. She lectures worldwide mainly on dentofacial orthopedics and conducts corresponding courses around the globe. She is member of the advisory boards of several peer reviewed journals and member of council of the German Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Lisa Alvetro, D.D.S., M.S.D., has been practicing orthodontics for 20 years. She was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Youngstown State University in 1987. She graduated from Ohio State University with her dental degree in 1993, Summa Cum Laude. She continued her education to become an orthodontist and completed her residency in orthodontics at Case Western Reserve University, where she continues to teach as an Associate Professor. Aside from her private practice, Dr. Lisa is a world-recognized orthodontic lecturer and advocate for 3M Unitek, a leader in the development of state-of-the-art orthodontic appliances. She has been invited to teach throughout the United States, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. You can often find doctors from throughout the world traveling to Sidney, Ohio to visit Alvetro Orthodontics to learn innovative techniques to treat their patients. Dr. Lisa is married to Tom Rossman and has three children; Kathryn, Michael and David. Sonja, a German exchange student, has joined their family this year.
